I am on a mission to help young people and their families navigate the winding path of education.  My passion is encouraging kids to pursue learning through high school and beyond, whether college, vocational training, or online certificates.

 

After receiving a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, I homeschooled my three children, utilizing various resources in Kalamazoo County, including co-ops, dual enrollment, partnerships, virtual school, and KAMSC (Kalamazoo Area Math & Science Center).  Our commitment paid off, and my three children received college scholarships, including one who earned a free ride to law school. 

 

Since moving to Kalamazoo in 1996, I have deeply connected to my community, actively participating in church and various volunteer programs.   I have been employed as a virtual Executive Assistant to three CEOs out of Chicago since 2020.  Now that I am an empty nester, I enjoy playing pickleball, solving crosswords, reading, and lounging with our three kitties.
